Job Responsibilities:
Lead, and direct a group of scientists to develop chemical processes for kilo lab productions. Ensure the chemical processes developed for manufacturing be successfully transferred.
Be responsible for all technical aspects of the kilo lab operations, including facility design and renovation, equipment qualifications and maintenance, planning and purchasing reagents and raw materials, scheduling and supervising productions, and resource allocation.
Ensure the facility and operations are under cGMP conditions and compliant with regulatory guidelines, and generate and safe-guard documentations for regulatory submissions.
Be responsible for the group performance including productivity, efficiency, profitability, on-time delivery, and resource allocation.
Create, review, approve and implement SOPs, and define and improve work process for kilo lab operations. Provide training and technical guidance to scientists to ensure the quality of work and timely completion of projects as required.
Interact with analytical and preformulation department on chemical and physical characterizations to ensure the quality of the products.
Participate in decision-making process with department management on budgeting and planning, and implementation.
Initiate, develop, and foster a long-term partnership with customers.
Qualifications:
Be familiar with overall pharmaceutical development process, cGMP and regulatory guidelines.
Maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
Have a degree of Ph.D. in organic chemistry with 5-10 years of process development and managerial experience in pharmaceutical industry.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Responsibilities:
Design, synthesize, purify and characterize small molecule drug leads and /or candidates from milligram to kilogram scales,
Conduct research and large scale synthesis as well as lead generation and lead optimization for SAR studies.
Document, summarize and report experiment results following the SOP requirements, and communicate research data.
Maintain chemistry lab safety.
Qualification:
Ph. D. degree major with 3 years of working experience in organic chemistry or medicinal chemistry.
Love organic synthesis and interested in drug R&D.
Experienced in design, synthesis, purification and characterization of small molecules with demonstrated ability to perform multi-step synthesis.
Experienced in spectroscopic (NMR, MS, IR, UV) and chromatographic (flash, TLC, PLC, HPLC) techniques.
Have a track record of excellence as demonstrated by scientific publication and/or by inventions, or lead research project in either industry or academ.
Good in literature search, knowledgeable in database and software applications.
Innovative, self-motivated with high accountability and independent research ability; good team worker, excellent organizational and written / oral communication skills in Chinese and acceptable communication ability in English.
Management experience will be a plus.
